Timothy J. Cosgrove

Cosgrove is one of Ohio’s most trusted and influential government relations professionals. He began his career as a top policy advisor to then-governor George V. Voinovich. Since then, and coupled with his training as a lawyer, Cosgrove has had a hand in nearly every major policy area including tax reform, economic development, healthcare, science and technology, and public finance. Prior to co-founding Cosgrove Jonhenry, he was a partner of nearly 30 years with the law firm Squire Patton Boggs. Cosgrove serves on the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees and is a member of the Ohio Lobbying Association. Cosgrove has undergraduate and law degrees from Cleveland State.
Nathanael Jonhenry

Jonhenry’s practice focuses on legislative counseling, campaign finance, Ohio Ethics Law, and government relations. Before co-founding Cosgrove Jonhenry, he had a nearly thirteen year tenure at Squire Patton Boggs and began his career as a General Assembly staffer two decades ago. Over the years he has represented a variety of clients in policy issues running the gamut in Ohio. Nathanael assists clients in preparing testimony, providing analyses on legislation, drafting statutory language, and most importantly – developing and executing tailored government relations strategies. In addition, he assists corporate clients in establishing political action committees (PACs) and advises companies on the various state and federal campaign finance regulations. Jonhenry graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2005 and received his juris doctorate degree from The Ohio State Moritz College of Law in 2011. He is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Lobbying Association, and has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars, in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 in the field of government relations.
Claire Bennett
Director of Government Relations
Bennett works with clients on a wide range of legislative matters including education, energy and environmental issues. She specializes in strategy development and implementation, monitors and analyzes legislation, and interacts routinely with legislative and administrative decision-makers. Bennett joins the firm from Squire Patton Boggs where she was a Public Policy Advisor. Prior to that, she served at the Ohio House of Representatives, the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, and the Ohio Environmental Council. Bennett sits on the Board of Trustees for the Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS). She is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
